Ulnar Nerve Entrapment (Cubital Tunnel Syndrome)

Commonly referred to as the Funny Bone, the Ulnar Nerve runs from the collarbone all the way through to your small fingers. When this nerve becomes compressed near the elbow, tingling or numbness in the fingers and arm may appear. When this is accompanied by elbow pain and a feeling that your grip is weak, the diagnosis is frequently Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. When the pain does not respond to medications, or trigger point injections, Dr. Nadel may perform Arthroscopic Surgery to relieve the pressure on the nerve around your elbow.
