My elbow hurts, for no apparent reason. I’m in good shape, though I mainly stick to running, so it’s not as if I threw out my arm or something. What is going on?
Your elbow pain could be caused by any number of conditions. Tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome are just a few conditions that come to mind. All of them can cause elbow pain that doesn’t seem to have a clear cause. Swollen tendons, torn ligaments, even a compressed nerve can make bending your elbow uncomfortable. Dr. Nadel will want to see you to perform an examination of the elbow, to determine the cause, and get you on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.
