My knees ache for no reason sometimes. I’ve never injured them, and I’m pretty healthy and active. Is this arthritis?

It could be arthritis, or it could be any number of other conditions. ACL, PCL or MCL strains or tears could be causing it. Patellar Femoral Syndrome could be to blame. You could have a Meniscus tear, or Meniscus damage. If your knees are aching, you’ll want to see an Orthopaedist. Dr. Nadel can help you determine the cause of the knee pain, and get you started on a course of treatment ranging from trigger point injections to physical therapy, or even Arthroscopic Surgery if the Meniscus, ACL, PCL or MCL need to be repaired.
